There’s a point where a pub becomes something more than just a place to grab a bite and a drink – it becomes a hallowed institution. In Hillsborough, North Carolina, Wooden Nickel Public House has been championing craft beer for over two decades, a feat to which we aspire.

It’s in their honor (and with their help) that we brewed (another) classic English-style ale. Hopped judiciously with UK Challenger, Fuggle, and Target, brewed with the finest British malts (as well as the elusive Black Treacle) and fermented with the classic Yorkshire yeast, Curios & Curiosities is a tribute to a very peculiar beer brewed in the North-Central part of England. Expect brash notes of coffee, caramel, molasses, and a moreish level of minerality.
