Our friends at The Community Tap are big fans of coffee, and as it turns out, so are we. When they pitched the idea of brewing a beer homage to the classic Espresso Romano (essentially espresso served with a twist of fresh lemon), we jumped at the opportunity. When it came time to find the perfect coffee for the project, bringing in the caffeine aficionados at Methodical Coffee was a no-brainer.

The resulting collaboration is a rich, black lager aged on mounds of hand-selected coffee beans and handfuls of fresh lemon peel. With notes of mountain-cabin-in-the-morning coffee and yellow Starbust, this is truly a next level drinking experience.
