Marie Courtin Champagnes

Marie-Courtin-Champagne-scaled

So excited to have the Marie Courtin Champagnes back on our shelves. Dominique Moreau farms one parcel (2.5ha) in southeastern Champagne and creates wines named after her great-grandmother!  She farms biodynamically and believes in minimal intervention in the cellar. She even cultivates her own yeast for the secondary fermentation.

The Resonance is what you might call her flagship wine, and year after year it’s one of our favorites. It’s 100% Point Noir from vines averaging 40 years in age. This year for the first time we also received the  2017 Extra Brut Sans Soufre Présence. This is a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc, all from the 2017 harvest, and it is made without any sulfur dioxide (a rarity in Champagne). We also received one magnum of her 2014 Efflorescence, which is 100% Pinot Noir from a parcel with a higher percentage of clay.

All of these Champagnes are exquisite and age-worthy, and they will disappear quickly. Email [email protected] to reserve yours!
